Our employees have the freedoms of an independent contractor / 1099 worker with the support and protections of being a W2 employee.
We allow employees to take both unpaid time off for personal or professional reasons.
We ask for two months advance notice so we have time to block off your schedule.
It is each stylist’s responsibility to maintain an accurate schedule for their clients and communicate with them about time off.
We work with you to design a right-fit schedule based on your personal and professional goals.
We are open on the following days:
Tuesday to Friday 10-7
This excludes holidays recognized by Ceremony, though the standard workweek is Sunday to Saturday. Our unpaid days off include the following:

Every artist and healer here uses a session-based pricing method that is transparent and genderless.
We will work with you to find the best rate that suits you based on your expertise and goals.
Everything is customizable. It is not determined by a level system or retail goals, but more about what fits you and the needs of your clients for your success.
You may access all of your your client’s email address information for your email marketing purposes.
In fact, we encourage you to take leadership and authority over your business so your clients know, like and trust you!
Everyone begins at a 47% commission rate after the 60-day probationary period has been satisfied.

All meetings are paid at the current minimum wage rate.
Booth renter and you wanna see if our community and commission is for you? You can still booth rent somewhere else and work here!
There are zero hidden fees. All retail or color product purchased by an employee for personal use will be sold at cost.
Employees are expected to provide all of their own cutting and styling tools for your artistry.
As you progress as a healer, you are also expected to provide some of your own tools due to their personal nature: (life activation wand, athame, sage spray, crystals, grimoire/spells, oracle or tarot cards, pendulum).
Ceremony provides hair dye, developer, backbar, styling products, color supplies and capes/towels for your art.
For healing, we provide crystal masks, holy water, nag champa, sage, essential oils, sound healing tools, biomat, purificato and cristalis for life activation sessions.
Regular 1:1 coaching and mentorship meetings will be held to assess your vision for your business and if it includes raising your rates, we celebrate you doing that!
We work with you to help you achieve your long-term goals (without having to meet random level-system benchmarks to do so).

Full-time employees enjoy health, stipend and investment benefits.
Part-timers (20 hours or less) can still enioy benefits like our Ceremony healing training and curriculum, meditation/workshop events, and our mentorship and staff meetings.
